Jason Lewis is host of the nationally syndicated Jason Lewis Show and is the author of "Power Divided is Power Checked: The Argument for States' Rights" from Bascom Hill Publishing.
Jason started his radio career at KOA in Denver and has hosted local talk shows in Charlotte, NC and Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN where he was rated number one. Jason got his start at national syndication as a regular substitute host for the Rush Limbaugh program and was recently selected as one of the top 25 talk hosts in the country by Newsmax Magazine.
He has been twice featured in ABC Radio's "The Year in Talk" and in 2011 Jason was named as one of "The Heavy Hundred" most important talk radio show hosts in the nation by Talkers Magazine.
Jason writes a monthly column for the Star Tribune of Minneapolis and has written editorials for newspapers throughout the country, including the Wall Street Journal. He has also appeared on nationally broadcast television programs, such as NBC's Today Show, Fox News Channel, CNN, MSNBC and CNBC.
Jason has a Masters of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado-Denver and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education/Business from the University of Northern Iowa. He also completed the Series 7 General Securities Examination requirement from the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). In 1990, Jason was the Republican nominee for the United States Congress from Colorado's Second District.
The Jason Lewis Show, home of Beatle Bumper Fridays, deals with the serious issues of politics, economics, and cultural affairs, but Jason's sense of humor brings a good deal of levity to the show. Lighter topics include health, sports, and movies. And you'll definitely hear plenty of Elvis and Beatles' trivia during any given broadcast.
The Jason Lewis Show moved to the Genesis Communications Network in August of 2011, to embark upon the next phase of national syndication. "I couldn't be more thrilled to be joining the Genesis Communications Network, they are truly a company on the move, hitting their stride. Moreover, it's great to be joining a hometown team where I can just walk down the street and we can put our heads together to reach our goals. The timing couldn't be better. It's a great union, a great partnership." To find out more about GCN click here
