Lawrence O’Donnell-”a-hole”

How rare it is that anyone should agree with Bill Press, but the lefty got it right when he declared, “I think Lawrence O’Donnell proved to be a real a-hole…” Truer words seldom spoken. Indeed, O’Donnell’s show the other day was quite instructive as to just how duplicitous this Hollywood hack really is. In the span of just a few segments, the liberal lapdog blasted religious conservatives for their intolerance by suggesting that our ‘rights come from God.’ He then sets up a straw man by using someone’s quote about Thomas Jefferson, a borderline Deist, to make his point-conveniently ignoring the most devout framers. In nearly the same breath, O’Donnell then denounces the Arizona law which would have allowed vendors to choose their clients based, ironically, on their religious preferences. So much for the First Amendment in little Larry’s world. Finally, if you can believe it, the host no one watches swiftly moves to a hard hitting analysis of how Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign, with the help of the free school lunch (or was it breakfast?) program, has miraculously dropped obesity levels in the country. He, of course, forgets to mention that the program has been rife with fraud for years and an “estimated one third of Indiana students receiving free or reduced-price lunches do not actually qualify for the federal program,” according to that state’s 2013 audit. Oh well, not counting yours truly, I’m sure the other 5 viewers enjoyed the program.
